Engagement Lead at Systemic Logic Group, South Africa

Ms Boitumelo Sebambo is an Engagement Lead at Systemic Logic Group, a global financial innovation and technology disruptor with a leading edge in execution, in emergent business models.

Boitumelo is a seasoned management consultant with over ten years’ experience. Her experience spans across a wide variety of public and private sectors including banking, development as well as capital markets. Over the years she has also been involved in consulting and business management for start-ups and small businesses in South Africa, Ghana and Angola.

She believes that creativity (and innovation) are the fueling engines of many economies, especially developing and third world countries. Boitumelo also recognizes that to drive an optimal level of innovation one must create opportunities, harvest entrepreneurship (social and other), appreciate diversity and value education.

Not enough African children from disadvantaged and excluded communities will make it all the way to high school, let alone a university campus, without some concerted efforts from private and public sectors. Boitumelo is passionate about the African dream and reshaping societies through education. She believes that in order for us to realize this dream we require impact driven leadership, community level empowerment and change management.
She wants to contribute in the formulation and discussion of strategic partnerships with private and public entities in driving the education agenda. Mostly in tapping into the hearts and minds of Africans who have changed their own circumstances and come out of “exclusion” through education, mentorship and great leadership. It is them and her who should make a difference.

Boitumelo worked as Business Analyst at Accenture, as Absa IM2 as Business Development Manager, at Absa Group Change as Project Manager, as Senior Consultant at Rubani Consulting, and as Executive Assistant at Absa Financial Services. She is a member of the Student Health and Welfare Centres Organisation (SHAWCO) and a member of the South African Chefs Association (2009 – 2011).
