About the African Community Fund for Education

We give scholarships to children in rural communities targeting those who cannot go to school if no one helps them. When we pay for their tuition, give them school shoes and uniforms, and provide food for those who walk long distances to school, we change their families, their communities, and the world.

MISSION & HISTORY

An ACFE Scholarship Beneficiary, Artwell BHUNU

The African Community Fund for Education Group was founded by Stanley Ndambakuwa in June 2013. Ndambakuwa is an Obama Scholar at the Obama Foundation (The University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, Class of 2019).

Our mission is to minimize the impact of poverty by creating empowerment opportunities for disadvantaged children in marginalized communities through education and leadership development.

We believe in creating strong and inclusive partnerships to achieve our strategic goals. We achieve this by engaging people and communities, mobilizing new resources and new approaches to change, expanding our educational and leadership programs, and reaching out to and engaging all stakeholders.
