About the African Community Fund for Education.

We give scholarships to children in rural communities targeting those who cannot go to school if no one helps them. When we pay for their tuition, give them school shoes and uniforms, and provide food for those who walk long distances to school, we change their families, their communities, and the world.

The African Community Fund for Education Group was founded by Stanley Ndambakuwa in June 2013. Ndambakuwa is an Obama Scholar at the Obama Foundation (The University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, Class of 2019).

Our mission is to minimize the impact of poverty by creating empowerment opportunities for disadvantaged children in marginalized communities through education and leadership development.

Changing the World through Strategic Partnerships

We believe in creating strong and inclusive partnerships to achieve our strategic goals. We achieve this by engaging people and communities, mobilizing new resources and new approaches to change, expanding our educational and leadership programs, and reaching out and engaging all stakeholders.

ACFE is organized around its core values which guide its internal and external conduct and its relationship with partners. It is in line with the ACFE mission and values that we embrace the following as our core business values.

We are committed to the highest level of ethical behavior. This commitment to integrity is reflected in our governance structures, financial management, and our choice of partners.

We are standing together to continue the advocacy for access to education as a basic human right in the communities we reach out to.

Above all else we are committed to achieving substantive results in the area of education. We work to the highest standards with a personal sense of responsibility to our cause.

This is reflected in our relationships with our stakeholders. We strive for timely and constructive engagement at all times.

We do not retain any bias in respect of race, nationality, religious beliefs, political affiliation or sexual orientation. Our selection criteria are transparent and available for public consumption.
